This week we are joined by voiceover artist and podcaster, Jim McCarthy!

About our Guest: Jim McCarthy has done over 10,000 voice overs since 1996. Likemost VOfolks, Jim started out in radio. Jim worked in Connecticut, Las Vegas and ended up settling in Nashville in 2005. Over that time Jim voicedand pro- duced literally thousands of ads for almost every type of business from the local smoke shop on up to Coca Cola and Jose Cuervo. Jim has voiced and mostly produced tens of thousands of radio imaging pieces (the stuff you hear between the songs with the cool zaps, swooshes and explosions). Jim eventually brought video into the mix when a little site caled YouTube came into existence. Most of his initial stuff can be seen at the Nashville JACK fm YouTube page, but he also tapped into his interviewing skills for Authentic “First Impression” Business Videos forlocal business owners, artists, sales folk, etc. These days, Jim capitalizes his 18+ years in radio, 4 of which were in talk radio, on helping podcasters new and experienced withthe strategy, production and logistics of their shows with his production company www.itsyourshow.co
