Lloyd developed a 100-pill-a-day addiction to OxyContin before he became a leading advocate in Tennessee’s substance abuse department. He has been fully recovered from opioid addiction for the last 17 years and has focused primarily on assisting people who suffer from substance use disorders.
Dr, Lloyd is the host of SeventyX7 Podcast with his son, Heath, and the staff of Cedar Recovery. In each episode, they uncover the science behind addiction and the incredible stories that are changing the way we treat opioid use disorder.
