Date Set for 2018 Old Timers Golf Tournament

21st Annual Event to be Held September 20

NASHVILLE, TN – July 23, 2018 – The Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association will hold its 21st Annual Scramble Golf Tournament at noon, Thursday, September 20, at Ted Rhodes Golf Course.

With great prizes, great food, great golf and great fun, the $100.00 per person entry fee includes lunch, dinner, golf cart, and green fees. There will be a “closest to the pin” contest on all par 3 holes and prizes will be awarded.

Entry forms are available on the Old Timers website, www.otbaseball.com; payment is due by September 8 and can be made by check or credit card.

All proceeds from the event go to the organization’s scholarship fund, and presentations are made to deserving high school senior baseball players at the Old Timers annual banquet in January. In the past 20 years the organization has given 224 scholarships in totaling $448,000.

Formed in 1938 by a group of local baseball enthusiasts, the Old Timers organization is one of the oldest such organizations in the United States, celebrating its 80th year of existence in 2018.

The Old Timers Baseball Association of Nashville is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and all contributions are tax-deductible
